Our challenge definitely helped in my Crossfit Games Workout this morning.

I was so worried about doing full pushups with hands leaving ground at bottom and I got 5 rounds - so glad you started this challenge!

I have to tell you - I did my first dead hang pull-ups today unassisted - actually got 2 in a row and I think it is partly due to all these pushups I've been working on! Thanks emoticon

Way to be, physedteacher, getting in those reg pushups. I"ve been doing on my knees and really trying to get my nose to the ground and keep my elbows back.

Only a few more days left for us! I'm thinking of at least keeping the push-ups and situps.

I have to thank you for this challenge. I really needed some ab work and it doesn't hurt to work on my push-ups either. I've been making myself do them each night before I have the chance to talk myself out of it :)

For the rest of March do a 50 50 50 every day.
50 situps - can use bungy cord
50 airsquats - can use wall
50 pushups -can use knees

Just "get er done"
Let's work together on this.

March 21 -
March 22 -
March 23 -50/50/50
March 24 -25 x 2 sets...DONE!
March 25 -oh so sore...but DONE!
March 26 -DONE! Rest day!
March 27 -Done during the rude interuption during my Chelsea!
March 28 -Complete...got in a good deal of regulation pushups! wooohooo
March 29 -did'um
March 30 -done'um
March 31 -Check!

I do them all at one time - just 5 rounds of 10 reps each, rather than 50 reps of each at a time.

Although spreading them throughout the day is another option as well.

I hear you...so have a rest day...and only do 10 or 50 if it is too much.
Or even do 5 of 50 but do something..
Suggestions:
read your email and "squat" into a chair that is 1/50
Get up out of bed is a sit up...that is 1/50
Lay down on the ground belly first and stand back up is a mini burpee/pushup 1/50
Don't look at the big 50 as a whole try to accomplish it one exercise at a time.

Much as I am challenged and motivated for this one - I just can't. I am new enough at this (combined with my age, which doesn't help!) that I really need the rest day for recovery in between the workouts at the box . One of these days, I hope to be good enough at this that I don't need a rest day that often - but that day is not here yet.

However, I will definitely be on the sidelines cheering for all of you! Go Team!

I'm going to give it a shot too....on the days I don't have a CF class...

50 situps - can use bungy cord

March 21 - 70 push ups, 105 squats (via wall balls)
March 22 - 25 sit ups
March 23 - 150 squats, 12 push ups (via burpees)
March 24 -
March 25 -
March 26 - I forgot how many I did! Darn it.
March 27 -
March 28 -
March 29 - 25 pu / 75 squats / 50 sit ups
March 30 -
March 31 -

Ok - I'll give it a go

For the rest of March do a 50 50 50 every day.
50 situps
50 airsquats
50 pushups -on knees, chest to ground


March 21 - 150 didn't want to do it, but got them done watching Date Night - yeah me!
March 22 - 150 did them before dinner - doing 5 sets of 10 each
March 23 - 150 after my evening Zumba class
March 24 - 159 after my husband's bball game and before dinner
March 25 -150 done before dinner & wine
March 26 - 150 done after WalkAmerica
March 27 -150 done after Zumba
March 28 - 150 done after Zumba
March 29 - 150 done after hubby's bball - almost forgot
March 30 - 150 done after evening Zumba - one more day to go
March 31 - 150 done after packing for camping! Made it!!!
