I tried paleo but had some problems with it, part of which I just could not get enough to eat and my workouts were suffering. I do better and can follow Tosca Reno's Eat Clean philosphy. While she does not advocate calorie counting or tracking, I do the tracking part. Otherwise, I have a tendency to overeat or distort my portion sizes.
