Good job. I strongly agree with the notion that it is infinitly easier to gain than to lose. I have been doing nearly everything right and losing at best about 1/2 pound per week while eating about 1200-1300 calories per day and averaging 5 to 6 miles walking per day. Oh well, I am getting stronger and my mind is starting to get content with limited intake.

Well I was right- 5 pounds in the first week back was huge and probably wouldn't last. But... I did lose another 1 pound so I'm down 6 for the month so far which is DEFINITELY moving in the right direction. Why is it so much easier to gain 6 pounds than it is to lose them?????

I am with you on the 10lbs! I gained 30 in about 8 weeks due to meds that I have stopped, so I am hoping that it comes off as quickly as it came on!

I lost 5 pounds my first week back on Spark- I know that's too much to loose in a week- but, it's that first week jump start and I don't expect it to continue. However, it's a good motivator!

What's your goal for April 2013? Mine is to lose 10 pounds. I know that's a lot- but I need a jump start. So here I go- April 1st weigh in- 218 pounds.
