I have to be honest... I have no idea what my total is for the week... or the whole challenge. I didn't actually track my food while I was away, I feel confidant that I did well, but I am not giving myself points for it... I worked out Monday and Tuesday, and I had at least 8 cups of water everyday... but beyond that, I don't know. I did manage to stay in my happy range though. Anyway... Congrats everyone on a great month!!! I hope this next challenge is the best yet for all of us!!!

My weight fluctuates from day to day also. That's why I pick a day of the week to weigh and not pay attention to the daily fluctuation. Nice job on your loss!

Well, my weight is up this week, but I did loose 6 lbs this months, and totaled 114 points.

I will not be able to compete in next months challenge, with family coming in 2 of the 4 weeks, I figured it was better not to stress about the challenge on top of living with my Mother-in-law. I hope to pick it up in September.

I lost 0.5 pounds from last week, so it's not much, but I'll take it. That gives me an overall gain for the month of 1.5 pounds. (I think my Start weight was 151). It was a very frustrating month for me, I am glad to be starting over again in August!

Okay, I only lost half a pound but at least it's a loss right. That makes my total weight loss for the month 4 pounds. My points for the week were 37 and the total challenge oints were 153. Let's have a great August.

i got new batteries for my scale. the numbers are brighter now. it shows that i lost 2 lbs. but i am sceptical. there have been a few times before when it said 228 but the next day it was back up to 230 and stays there pretty consistently. we'll see.

i got 31 points for this week and 90 for the whole month.

I lost 1.4 lbs this week. A little of that was a redo from weight gain from my cleanse. I started another gallbladder cleanse last night so we'll see how the numbers look next week.

Finally managed to reset the scale and weighed in this morning. I'm down a little...not even a whole pound, but down nonetheless. That counts, right? ;) Actually, I'm still wondering if my calorie range is maybe too low--I only stayed in range twice this week--so how did I manage to lose anything at all?!

Oh, well. I will take what I can get without complaining! :)

Hey, is this challenge done now? Time to move on to August's challenge?

I just went for a walk to get the mail :) Nice and brisk walk, pushing the double stroller with both kids, and I did some lunge walking on the way back. (My mail box is about a 1/2 mile up the road. My reward? I got a $25 birthday check in the mail :D Woot!!

I too need to be better with my devotional time. I have to make myself sit and eat breakfast while I read. That seems to be the only way I make it a priority.

I hope the knuckle push ups work for you. There is a push up thing I've seen on tv, but I don't know if is the brace you're thinking of. They look like steel plates with handles and you hold the handles as you do the push ups. If I see the name of them again, I'll mention it.

It sounds like everyone is doing pretty good. This week has been okay except for the Bible Meditation. It seems like every time I sit down to read the kids end up needing something. I did find out this week that I have a kidney stone. After talking to people I'm supprised the doctor is waiting for it pass. I didn't know there was medication to make them disolve. I'd rather have that than the pain of going through passing them. Anyway, have a great Sunday. We are hopefully going to a beach after church and then going to scout out camping spots for our daughters camping birthday party this coming weekend.

Debbie - I had a wrist injury in the 9th grade that has just gotten worse. I have had to have a TFCC Tear fixed and I have also had CT and Ulnar nerve surgery on my RT wrist. I can't bend my wrist as well now so any movement hurts. I did try the knuckle pushups last night and they did seem to work. I just need to find a brace to help my wrist.

Missy - I am so happy to be home and to get back into my routine. Don't get me wrong it was wonderful to spend time with my parents and extended family, but it was not at my house.

I am now back in ND so I can focus on SP and the team more. I missed talking with ya'll and I also missed the support. I hope that things have been going well for everyone. I am going to try to get caught up on all that has happened but it may take me a few days.

Karen and Missy - Please change the batteries so that next week we can celebrate your losses with you.

Christie - Keep pushing on I know that you can do it!

Heather - Love to hear about your runs. Keep up the terrific work!

Debbie - Way to go on those push ups. I wish that I could do those kind, but with a bad wrist I can barely do any push ups.

Meg - I love to do push ups, but do to my wrist problems I can't do many now. I guess that I got addicted to them when I was active duty in the Air Force. I did check out the site and I am inspired to try this. I think that I can do the knuckle pushups so that my wrist won't hurt that much. I need to find some kind of brace that may help.

Yes, I know that I am late yet again, but with traveling and unpacking I have had no time until now so here I go with last weeks totals.

I did loose 2 pounds that takes me to 157. I also lost .75 in in my hips.

I'm hoping to get in day 2 today, but I don't know.... I'm still sore! I never knew that push up could work abs. I guess cause I've always done them on my knees, so they only work upper body.

dd was very fussy all night last night, so now I'm totally tired. I have a pretty easy day today, so hopefully I'll get some rest later on.

I'm praying for ya.

Push ups are amazing for the core and upper body. I can actually do military style now with my feet up on the step (so I'm in a decline position, legs higher than my head). I make sure and do it in front of my husband to motivate him. Hee hee.

I haven't been doing well this week at all - I am over calories, no cardio. The only thing going well this week is I have been doing strength training with my husband and he pushes/encourages me to use a higher weight then I would normally use.

I really need to find a way to balance all I want to get done.

You know, that's something that I don't know if everyone (in general) knows, but push ups of course work your arms, but if you do it in good form it's great for your abs and obliques too! Same with the Plank (Yoga/Pilates pose) It's amazing :)

Thats nice that you live in a good neighborhood. Ours is okay, but I've passed by some scary looking people. I used to go jogging in a certain area, until I heard that girl got attacked down there. Now I stick to main streets and housing areas.

I started this push up challenge in another group. OH MY! My arms are sore! And my abs, and sides! If I get through this, I'm gonna have some hot arms!

Hm... pepper spray isn't a bad idea. :) I live in one of those towns where everyone knows everyone, and if I run in the dark it's right behind my house on a well lit street... but you never know, and no town is perfect :)

Heather- sounds like a great roll! keep it up! My dh bought me a canister of pepper spray to take when I go jogging.

Christie- have fun camping!!! Wish I could go with you, I love camping.

I did okay with my food yesterday. I went a little over, but not too badly. My son spilled milk all over the carpet, so I ended up shampooing the carpet all around our dining room table. Not a big area, but it did work up a sweat!

Christie, Have a great time camping!!

I have to make this a really great week. I went for a run last night, a little too late, just in terms of being safe. I spent most of the 30 minutes praying :) It was a great way to spend time with God though. It was a nice way to start this last week! :) This morning I got on my treadmill. I had a big lack of time so I put it on an incline and walked a 15 minute mile. That's probably all I'll get in today, but hey, two days in a row... I'm on a roll... now to get that ST in!!! :-D

Sarah, great job!!! Consistent loss is awesome!

Patty, you can definitely get to your goal before the end of the month!!!

Meg, Holy smokes that's awesome!!! And I don't think you are bragging! That's a major loss and really great news for you!!

Kristen, man oh man, 5 pounds from Onederland! YAY!!! I know you can do it!

Debbie, maybe do a mid-week weigh in and see if the oil weight has gone away :) You make me smile with the Champions song :)

Karen and Missy, get new batteries!! I'm sure you've both had losses!! :)

I HAVE To make this last week really count! I am going out of town on Saturday and I'm not taking my scale with me. I'll be at my brothers so I'll have access to internet... I think, and they might have a scale, so we will see how I do. :-D
My goal of being back in my happy weight range hasn't happened yet. Although, on Thursday when I weighed I was 148... and this morning I was 153... so I know it has to be at least some water weight. I'm weighing again Friday before I leave I'll let ya'll know what it says.

I didn't get this on the other thread, but I am at 74 points total for the challenge. Haven't changed the batteries on the scale yet (takes funky batteries), so I'm not sure on my weight. :-p

Missy, maybe by next week, we'll both have new batteries and can be surprised by a loss! :)

week three i got 22 points and 59 total. i maintained my weight at 230. i think i need to put new battereis in my scale. i got on the scale and it said 226 so i got off and got back on agian. it said 228. then i tried again and it said230.
