Here's what I have going currently:

I walk for 30 minutes 5 days a week (Mon-Fri). I have playlists set up with fast tempo's so I know I walk more efficiently. If the weather is too gross for walking I replace this with 20 minutes on the elliptical or 30 minutes Wii Fit/DDR.

3 times a week I do resistance training for 15 minutes. Tuesday I do upper body, Thursday I do lower body, and Saturday I do core.

Once a week (Saturday) I do yoga for 15 or more minutes.

Once a week (Wed) I now attend our local Fit Club, which is a free hour long workout. (P90X, ChaLean, Insanity, and so on.)

Burning this much my calorie range is 1600-1800 now, though....I have the red warning I need to adjust things because I'm not putting in enough fuel. I'm choosing to ignore that for right now, but will look at fixing it next week. I just need to get an average number of what I'll burn at Fit Club so I can put that into my goals.

I've changed up my little personal goals. I no longer do all my "beauty care" on different days. Now on Thursday I go my face masque, condition, soak and scrub my feets, and shave, and then it's all take care of. I still use my lists, which I love! :) I'm just finding it easier to find the time to take care of ME.

I'm doing P90X right now, and I'm thinking about how to structure a routine for after I'm done. I'm looking for a weekly yoga class, and will probably do 30 minutes on the treadmill 4 times a week. Still debating on what to do for strength training.

Cardio: M,W,F (and sometimes Sunday's when I'm really ambitious)
Strength: T(Upper body); Th(Lower body); Sat(Core)
On Saturdays, I'll add in some cardio as well since I have more time.
I like my routine but will probably switch it up in some way in a couple weeks. emoticon

I was surprised to find out how much I like resistance training. I'd put on some girl-power music, turn it up loud, and go at it. LOL BUT....I prefer training alone at home with dumbbells and bands over the machines. I did not like the machines.

I changed up my plan a bit this week. I am still walking 20 minutes a day, but only 6 days a week now. And I added in 2 15 minute resistance training sessions.

I just started the INSANITY workout, made it though the first week. I play racquetball twice a week and mix in 20 to 30 minutes of Kettlebells 2 to 3 times a week for my resistance training and additional cardio. I finish up with some core work on a stability ball.

On week 2 of half marathon training. My first ever but I want to do it in under 2 hours and 15 minutes. Challenge!! It does make it hard training in the north in the middle of winter but thankfully I have a treadmill for those days.

I break my work out into several segments through out the day. I start with a 30 minute walk in the morning, a 30 minute walk during my lunch, a 30 minute when I get home and a 30 minute walk before bed. I have dog and I have to take him out several times a day so it makes getting my walks in easier. Also after each walk I do some strength training. By breaking up my work out makes it easier to get it all in, instead of struggling to do it all at one time.

Going into week 3 now. I'm still just walking pretty much. 20-30 minutes a day. On the days when the weather is just too stormy (quite a bit this last week!) I stay in and use the Wii Fit Plus for 20 minutes.

So far I've walked/Wii'd off 10 pounds! (Okay it sounds funny to Wii off weight.) I do Yoga with the Wii once a week.

emoticon

I'm still dripping with sweat and getting out breath and feeling sore, so I won't be stepping it up just yet. When I do I will add in my resistance training and a cardio DVD probably or the elliptical once or twice a week.

My elliptical has a weight limit of 255 pounds. I figure they must build in some leeway there, so about 265 I'm going to see if I can start using it. I emoticon the elliptical.

My workout schedule changes week to week depending on my work schedule, but I do try to get 4-5 workouts in a week. I mostly do the FIRM dvd workouts, but will hop on my treadmill once in a while or Wii for something different.

Today: Hard Core Fusion(FIRM)
Mon: Cardio Overdrive(FIRM) no work
Tues: Total Body Time Crunch(FIRM)work~11:30-4:30
Wed: Off~work at childcare 8:00-4:30
Thurs: Off~work at childcare 8:00-4:30
Fri: Power Half-Hour(FIRM) work~10:00-5:00

The above is an example of this coming week. Next week will be different b/c my hours will be different.

I walk on the treadmill for 40-50 minutes on M-W-F, I'm building my speed up slowly to get to my current goal of a 20 minute mile. I can do the 1st mile in 30-32 minutes & haven't yet completed the 2nd mile in my alloted time but I'll get there soon.

On T-TH-S I have karate scheduled, with push-ups, sit-ups & squats for the strength training portion. I'm committing to go to at least 2 classes per week this year unless something extraordinary happens to prevent me (like work travel).

On Sunday, and the days I don't go to karate, I do 10-20 minutes on the treadmill.

A coworker & I are looking for a local Friday night Zumba class near our office & plan to see if a group wants to take the class with us.

I'm taking a yoga/pilates class once a week, then hitting the gym 2-3 times per week for cardio/strength training. I'm easing back into exercise slowly since I haven't worked out in over 2 years, and I have a hernia, so I need to careful with certain exercises.

My plan is to go to the gym at least 4 times a week for a total of 16 trips or more. On the off days I will plan on popping in Leslie's walking DVD which I have had forever. I plan to shop for a new DVD so I can rotate them out.

Tuesday 1/4: Run 4 miles (check)
Thursday 1/6: Run 3 miles (later tonight)
Friday 1/7: Run 5 miles or 60 minutes cross train
Saturday: Rest for long run Sunday
Sunday: 10 mile run after church, pretty route if you want to look at it:
Monday: Rest
Tuesday 1/11: Run 3 miles in morning or cross train
Wednesday 1/12: Run 2 miles
Thursday 1/13: Rest
Friday 1/14: Rest
Saturday 1/15: Run 13.1 miles for the first time ever! :)

After the race I'll be recovering for a few days then getting all the exercise I can in before I have surgery on 1/27 and have to take six weeks off.

I'm down more than 3 lbs since I joined Sparkpeople! Gotta love it! That means 41 lbs down and 19 to go to my goal!!

I'm starting out with 10 minutes on the treadmill everyday - not for weight loss, just trying to make it a habit.

I'm walking to the beach in the mornings and going for a swim before work. It's the rainy season though, so I've been using my Xbox 360 with the Kinect to run a kick boxing cardio routine on the days where I can't go out in the mornings. It's super geeky, but it's getting the job done.

First goal: get home from vacation so that I can really start this program correctly! Until then, get out to walk every day, drink water instead of soda, and stop eating sweets. I will update when I finally get home and get a routine going.

My initial plan is for the next two weeks to eat about 1,500 calories a day, drink plenty of water and detox from the junk. To go to the gym three times a week for 30 minutes of cardio and strength training. Yoga at home the other fours days of the week.

And go from there in mid-January.

I'm doing walking/running for 30 minutes 2 minutes walking 1 minute running at the highest incline on a treadmill and sometimes walking for another 30 minutes at the full incline. I'm trying to do some strength training too but I find it a little boring. I have consistently been doing 20 squats and 15/side single leg squats while I brush my teeth though.

I'm starting off small. A daily walk. Good for me and good for my dog. With the weight I gained this year my joints are aching. Does not help that I have arthritis. Mid January I have signed up for Tai Chi twice a week to add. When I lose a bit of weight I will add either running (good for the dog) or add the gym to my program.

Yes I think a exercise focused Christmas would have been a good idea. My hubby hates to exercise.

I usually slack off in the Winter, but Dragon Boat in the Summer. I gained so much weight this year that unless I get it off I will take a year off. My team is competitive and I will not hinder them. I will replace it with Kayaking as I have two at home.

Anyways that is my current plan and I will keep you posted of any changes.

I have a lot of weight to lose & serious health constraints, so I'm going to start off slowly. I'll be doing very light yoga exercises and modified strengthening/toning exercises each morning. I'm also going to do very, very low impact aerobic activities like walking or riding the stationary exercise cycle at least three times each week. I'll have to start out at just 5 or 10 minutes each day, but I hope to build up to 20-30 minutes before too long. .gif" alt="emoticon" width="42" height="42" border="0"> emoticon

@ FITCHICK84 - I really love the idea of an exercise-themed Christmas. I wish my husband & I had thought of that this year. We did a home improvement-themed Christmas instead. LOL! Maybe next Christmas we will buy a treadmill instead of a new washer/dryer... I want to lose 2 pounds per week & 100+ lbs. in 2012!! Reward: Trip to exotic locale with my husband. :)

5 days/week: 45-60 min walk.
2-3 days/week: strength training or some kind of mixed aerobic/strenth workout video.

My boyfriend and I had a bit of a fitness-themed Christmas, so I got lots of new things for working out including a bike! Looking forward to incorporating that into my exercise program. emoticon
