I totally forgot to create a Week 7 thread for myself this last week. It was my birthday on Monday--and my husband through a surprise party for me. It was a good week for me all in all--although I didn't get as much cardio as I have been. But, it was a busy week and this weekend we got rid of a lot of stuff in our garage so we are a step closer cleaning it out and setting it up as an office/workout room.
My husband also got me a punching bag for my birthday. I'm really looking forward to working out with it too.
As of this morning I'm 8 weeks into my re-committment to using sparkpeople and eating right and exercising and have lost over 20 lbs in that time.
I feel more committed than ever to making this a permanent healthy lifestyle. I haven't had a soda of any kind in those 8 weeks--I've stuck to my water and I feel good about these changes. That's not to say I don't have the occasional off day. I don't eat perfect every day and sometimes it does get hard. But I'm not giving up. I'm turning to food to cope with stress--and that is a huge step for me.
