It feels sooooooooooo good when I notice the changes in me from all of the work I've been doing. You guys give me such inspiration. I'm a diabetic too, and I hope that when I lose a significant amount of weight, my diabetes will be gone! I've had lots of surgeries over the past two years, and the diabetes has prompted some major complications. I have a couple more surgeries coming up in the next two years, and I want to lose the weight by then to not have these complications. But, in the meantime, when I notice things like a tighter booty and legs and a smaller waist (imagine that!!!) I get so excited tooj! Congrats Barefoot!!!!!
Here we are at the end of Week 7. I have had a pretty good week. I'm amazed at how much I have learned about diabetes through this program. Looking forward to week 8. I've been reading The Spark! and learning about setting goals. After week 8, I will be ready for a new phase of growth. Thanks a lot Spark People!

It is hard to believe that the week is almost over. I have been so busy with everything going on that I have lost track of time. I am excited about possible weight loss Monday. Tonight when I was exercising, I noticed how defined my legs were getting while exercising. That is so exciting. Also, my posterior is getting firmer. No longer like a soft pillow. It is wonderful to notice changes all ready. WOO HOO!!!!
The Lord doesn't expect us to work harder than we are able. He doesn't (nor should we) compare our efforts to those of others. Our Heavenly Father asks only that we do the best we can - that we work according to to our full capacity, however great or however small that may be.
