Week 7 has ended. I've lost 3 lbs so far but I don't have that much more to lose so I'm happy with that. I'm having no problems with my food or cardio but I am still having trouble trying to fit in all the strength training. With my night schedule and 2 kids it's proving difficult. Onto week 8.

Week seven has been challenging in trying to avoid temptations and to avoid procrastinating about my workout. The positives have been more lbs lost this week and building strategies for getting through my weak points.
Did you lose inches? Sometimes when you build muscle, you will not lose weight, but you will lose inches. Muscle weights more than fat. That could be one answer. Sometimes if I do a lot of standing, I retain water. We all have times when the scales won't move. Hang in there, they will move, after awhile. I have lost 15 lbs as of today. I still have to record it. My FBS was 136, that is a lot better than the 220's I was getting. I go to the doctor on the last day of my changelle, he will like the results. He shouldn't have to add another med. now. Hurray for me. Good Luck and may bless all of my spark family.
In the middle of week seven. The sunrise is fantastic. Our weather has been warm and sunny all week. I wonder how hot the summer is going to be?????
My fbs is a little high today - 127. I must've overeaten last night, although I didn't think I did. I haven't lost any weight for two weeks now. I've lost 20 overall and am doing water aerobics every week, but the scale doesn't budge. I am drinking my water and tracking my food. that's why I know I didn't overeat last night. I don't understand... LOL

I'm almost done with week 7. My blood sugars fluctuated more than they should have. I made a soup from a mix (always a bad idea) that raised my blood sugar 100 points.yesterday. I won't do that again. My body has been fighting a cold, and that also raised my blood sugar. The good news is that I'm moving forward with the plan. Also, I lost a pound! I will finish this program strong. Thanks Spark People! I love the plan.

I finished week 7 and it was a difficult week as it included a holiday. I don't do good on holidays when it comes to food, not only on that day but with the leftovers the rest of the week. I also haven't started back to my usual summer workouts. Now that the weather has warmed up that will change. I am walking in Relay for Life on Saturday at the Civic Center with a mile long track, should get more than just the 2 miles I have been walking three days a week. Last summer I did 5 miles, working my way back up there. Starting Week 8 today...
Well done Debbie, it was difficult for me at first now i just keep on doing it. Especially the food tracking. I know that and my exercises are keeping my FBS down. I have to wait till i can hace another A1c done and hopefully it will be a grin and not a groan.

Monday Morning, Week seven was a challenge for me!!! Mainly because I had to force my self to complete the tasks I committed to on SP. Taking time for breathing meditation helped me to slow down some in a week of challenges outside of the ones I set for myself on SP. I began the week trying to do the workouts without the stability ball and found it hard not having verbal clues for instruction. I got a stability ball and continued the week with the exercises with the ball. Cardio went alrignt but I found I didn't get a very intense workout just walking, I did have time for the kick boxing a couple of time. Still working on coordination:). I tracked the food I ate 3x's and started and never completed other days. I had my fruits and veggies:) I love watermelon and watermelon salads!!!! .
So Week 7 is complete, I survived the challenges outside SP!!!!!!!
I now move on to week 8. I want to thank you for the support and encouragement you have given and I have received these past weeks.
