Day 3. Week 6. FBS 154. So far, I'm averaging a weight loss of a pound week. Most of the lost occurred week 1 & 2. My outlook is positive .

Most of the time I'm really occupied taking care of my 2 grand sons, and I have no time to check in, but I want to let you know that I lost 21 pounds, My FBS is under 100, and sometimes under 90. I'm doing my workout routine every day ( cardio) and 3 times a week dumbbells. Today, I went to my laboratory test (blood) and I'm exited to see the results, because in February I was having as diagnostic PREDIABETIC I hope after this time with SP all is normal again. Doing great!!! I kept my nutrition tracker within the range all weekend. I did lots of exercise including strength training. I am ready for the week!!!!

Day1, week 6.
FBS 174. Last week My traveling away from home wrecked by progress. Week 5 was a bummer blood sugar wise but other tracking ,food & exercise, was ok. Week 6 is to get back on track week starting today .

I've been making sure that I have been eating breakfast. (It is a major step for me just to eat breakfast. I don't really care for many of the breakfast foods.) I have been adding some strength training as well. This has been a busy week.....I may get a break on Sunday.

BS low but made it around the marina park 1 x and stopped in at the store on the way home - got lunch .. starting to feel better .. yes I did eat 2 glucose tabs on way to the store so I could walk more ..
Had went to the library to drop off magazines I had finished with - but no new ones to get ... then went to farmers market , mission was to get sweet potatoes ... I have a yardsale next weekend and they close at the end of oct ..

Day 1--Great start to Week 6: 30 min interval, 30 walking, 20 strength. Stayed in calorie limit.
Day 2--Another healthy day this week--30 min interval, 30 min walking, 20 strength; in calorie limits!
Day 3--got in 30 min today; stayed within calorie range--on the lower side
Day 4--did 10 min (part of Spark Guy's team); went a tad over the calorie range though.
Day 5--back to routine--31 min interval; 20 min strength
Day 6 and 7--traveling; little exercise, but o.k. on nutrition. BS up a tad, but will soon be back at it, so looking for it to go down.

VGIBSON - Good job on the exercising! Keep working on getting that tracking in there for the day. Sometimes it helps to make an appointment with yourself to do that. Keep pushing!

The start of week 6. I've already done my squats for the day. I will walk around noon and then try to do an exercise video tonight. I'm watching what i'm eating but not really tracking it. I don't know why i can't seem to do this. I may to 2 meals out of the day for maybe 3 days but then i stop tracking. I'll get there. emoticon

Really happy to be posting excellent FBS since I've upped my physical activity! Have even been able to skip my evening glimepiride a couple of times since my sugar was well under 150 two and three hours after dinner! emoticon
