I have heard before that if you are hungry go for a walk and it helps you put your mind on other things. But I love carrots and celery too.

I don't know what I would do without you all and your good ideas. I have some celery in the fridge and green beans on the shelf. Thank you for your feedback.

The Lord doesn't expect us to work harder than we are able. He doesn't (nor should we) compare our efforts to those of others. Our Heavenly Father asks only that we do the best we can - that we work according to to our full capacity, however great or however small that may be.

I get angry and I want to crunch something. It used to be chips or something like that, but I am trying to eat celery or carrots. I also find that going for a walk helps me clear my mind so I can decide if I really want to eat. My friends at work notice if I start walking too much. LOL.

I get mad, then I get hungry. I thought it was just me.

Anger - and stress and anxiety and probably just about everything else, lol - increases adrenalin, which in turn means you burn whatever fuel is at hand more quickly. The easiest fuel for the body to grab is whatever is in the system (!) at the moment; what's stored is secondary. No wonder you ate without awareness then still felt hungry.

For what it's worth, I feel as tho I'm hungry ALL the TIME, lol!

Today, I figured out that being angry makes me hungry or at least makes me so I don't notice what I am eating. My darling daughter (typical self centered 18 year old) made me a tad upset today....right before dinner. I ate my dinner and then realized I didn't even enjoy it. It didn't even touch my being hungry. I entered my food so I won't over eat and am very aware that I can't eat until snack. Anger and appetite, for me go hand in hand. She is moving in a couple of months by order of the current residents, her parents...lol.
