Starting Week 4 with a workout. Just finished 1 mile of Leslie Sansone's 5 Day Slim Down. My goal is to do 1 mile of this workout everyday this week and add a mile every 2 weeks, until I can do all 5 miles in a workout. Doing great maintaining my low carb/low cal meals, just got to get on target with exercise.

This morning I used the resistance bands for the first time. I followed the video link from week 3, and it felt pretty awkward! Will continue using it the rest of this week (M, W, F), and alternate or combine it with other strength exercises once I feel comfortable. I do cardio exercises for 30 or more minutes 5-6 days a week. I still like the Walk Away the Pounds 3 mile walk, and feel like I get a good workout! Now that it is nice, I will be walking outside much more! My BG has been in the recommended range for the last 9 days, and that makes me feel like all this exercising and diet is working (along with medication). I have shed about 8 pounds and a few inches too! This is not fun or easy, but it beats developing more health problems!!!!!
