Hello All,

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I had to go have a test done in the morning and we had some errands to run too. When we got home later I was exhausted and didn't feel like doing anything. I had done a lot of walking too. I will try to catch up over the next couple of days. I hope I didn't miss anything too serious.

I did a few of my exercises yesterday after I rested a little bit.

Today it is a lot warmer than it was yesterday. At least the wind has died down and the temperature is going up. It is 34 outside now at 1:00 pm. Hopefully it will stay this way for a couple of days anyways.

Just finished up week 4 on Tuesday and im down another 3 lbs. So excited! Makes my total 14 for the week. Did another spin class tonight. Went to see the lifeforce coach to discuss my new blood test results and man was there a difference. My blood sugar was 111 down from 160 last time as well as all the other numbers down. Wishing everyone else luck on their journey as well. Def. not easy but I think well worth it.

Hello All,

Isn't it funny, I went to my doctor yesterday too, and she wants me to get my bad cholesterial down a little. It isn't that over but she is going to increase my medication up some. My blood sugars are doing ok so far. I had a good A1c of 6.1. She will see me again in 3 months. She did however want me to get another blood test for my cholesterial sometime next week after I have increased my medicine.

The weather today is dreary looking. I don't think the sun is going to come out today. The temperature is going to be in the 30's. We aren't having any wind either which is a good thing. Tomorrow the temperature is suppose to go down into the low 20's and the wind is going to be picking up again. It isn't any wonder because I have to go out tomorrow so of course the weather is going to be cold.

I think I forgot to check in on week 3 so I am doing this right away before I forget.

I visited my doctor yesterday and found out my triglycerides are doing much better and my cholestrol and blood sugar are pretty much on target.......she was quite pleased with my progress in that respect....

Today the weather is very cold. It is only 26 outside and the wind is blowing like crazy. I hope that it will warm up a little before I have to go out this afternoon. I have had my fill of cold weather. I want some nice sun shine.

I am doing ok so far. Am doing the 20 minute elastic band video at least once a day. It is a lot of fun.

I struggled last week, I keep my food tracker daily, but I am trying to diary my mood again to see why tune into the pattern of why some weeks I'm on the dot and others not so on the dot. I still lost 0.2 pounds and I continued to do my scheduled walks. But I confess I fell off the toning exercises and I enjoyed them so much too, so I am recommitting to do them this week and a couple extra. I also have to remember to login in, I'm actually in week 5

I know exactly what you are all talking about. It is very hard to do all the exercises and the changes in the food and not have anything to show for it. I have been having a hard time between not feeling well and not being able to do all the exercises really gets me down sometimes. Keep going anyways. We will get there one way or another. I know we can do it.

I know exactly what you are talking about, I haven't lost anything more in a few weeks now too. It's my third plateau and the others lasted months. I haven't given up but it sure does lower the moral. I've changed my exercises and some of my foods but everything is so slow. I hope this breaks soon.

A little disappointed with my weight loss, have not lost a single pound the last 2 weeks. In spite of exercised 8-10 hours per week and eating less and a much higher vegetables and less carbs. Love the exercise so that's not a problem. Constantly watching what I eat, planning what to eat makes me feel food obsessed. I wouldn't mind if I had results to go with it. However, I am not giving up. It is a new week.

checking in Just beginning week 4. Still carrying 2 of the 4lbs that magically appeared overnight a couple of weeks ago. I'm sticking with the program only because BS has been good with no post meal major spikes. Weight loss seems an impossible task for me. I'm doing everything right to lose, exercising, watching & recording what I eat and generally being very active all day every day. Any suggestions?

I've gone from a 6X to a 3X in my uniform top. Ate a chicken stew last night (0.5cup) that had carrots and peas in it and probably potatoes as well and the BS was 103 this am. Trying to stay 100 or below per doctor and it can be a challenge. Learning what effects the DM is as difficult as learning what exercise is best. Still Sparkin'!!!!

I need to remember to check in - I have been tracking my food and it has been a learning experience. I actually have lost 3 lbs this past week. However, I notice my clothes getting looser and I am not worry about my pounds because muscles weight more. My main concern is loosing inches and eating the right food. This week I will be going to two intense aerobic classes.

Starting week four,hoping to stay in modivation track. Having a rough start of getting to the gym this week, planning on getting there tomorrow---got to get some swimming in .

Completed week four, I was gone for a week, I walked twice a day and wore my pedometer. Plus I took my band and used it every other day. I did not always have access to the computer so I did not log in each day and note my progress. I find that it is getting easier to exercise for longer periods of time. Best of all my BS is coming down, it was lower this morning than it has been in a very long time. I am ready for week five.

Here I go, starting week 4. Things are going well. I went grocery shopping yesterday in a store much, much bigger than I normally do. I faced so many temptations, but I resisted. It really felt good. Have a great day.

After kicking the flu or cold whatever it was - I'm doing well with the week. Back to my exercise - not quite as hard to breath now.
It's getting easier to follow through to the goals now that we are half way there! Nice to have a challenge to look forward to.
