I'm going to be moving around when I take my glipizide and metaformin pills to find what works best for me. I'm hoping that will help me bring these numbers down down down!

Kateryn,way to go with the execise!I have worked with a trainer for the past 2 years and it's the best workout ever!!Physically I am in better shape than 5 years ago!Now to get the rest of this weight off!I wish I could tell you what times to take your meds,but I'm not sure.I take my metformin morning and night.If I were you I think I would call my Dr. and see if they have recommendations,just tell them your #'s and see if they can guide you.Keep up the great work.Even working out at those increments is great.There are days I am sooo busy I can only run into the gym for 20 min. Hey better than not going!!

Dakota,

Yes I am on some meds. I take 1 glipizide pill a day - just before lunch (my heaviest meal of the day.) I take diovan, lipitor and metaformin just before bedtime. Should I be taking the metaformin at another time? I just changed from taking the glip pill right before bedtime to before the lunchtime meal. Should I change it back? I am so darn confused about the best time to take these meds - especially with how much I am working out now. I generall get at least 50 minutes of planned exercise in 6 days a week. Wednesday is my 2 & 1/2 hour day (biggest day of the week. I break it up a lot - 60 minutes is broken into 10, 40, and 10 during the work day. And the evening one is 30 walking, 30 strength training with my trainer, and 30 working on my c25k. I'm on week 2 of it.

fasting 224. This after a easy day yesterday - only 50 minutes of walking. Today will be much better. It's a c25k training day as well as my strength training day. And I'll have 50 minutes of just walking in there also.

Of course, it could be that I am not losing weight fast enough and I will need to have the doc up my prescription of glipizide to two pills a day (or more.) Right now I only take the one just before bedtime. Which is probably the wrong time of day?
