Thank you, I love hearing amazing stories like yours, right now i am struggling with exercise due to neuropathy and diabetic retinopathy but i am going to make it this time, I plan to let people in and help me. so again thanks for the encouraging words.

I wasn't on insulin such as yourself but I was you noticed I said WAS on oral insulin. After about the first 6-8 months, I was able to get off of those oral medications and have brought my BSs down to normal (I do, however, have a tendency to be hypoglycemic). All of my cholesterol and triglyceride levels are also now down to well within normal limits. I have lost 35+ pounds in the last 18 months. As for clothing sizes I have gone from a size 22W pants/shorts to a size 14-16 pants and from a 22W/2X tops down to a size L. Even my shoe size and gone from an 9 1/2 XW to a 9 W.
Not only am I pleased with myself but my doctor is astounded at the weight and size reduction that I have accomplished.
Be sure to weigh/measure and track everything that goes into your mouth. Start out by doing 10 minutes a day of exercise - - don't be afraid to break it down into 2 5-minute sessions if need be to start. The important thing is that you are moving.
Remember, you are NOT alone. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! and together .

I have been diabetic for over twenty long years. My goal is to get back on track. If I could start over again I would do things so diffrent, beware of depression, It can mess with sugars but I only tested 6-7 times a week being insulin depended I have lost most of the feeling in my feet except horable pain. so please watch for depression.
