Have you tried pool exercises? I have injections in my hips for pain, plus have bulging discs in my back. It doesn't take much for the pain to flare up. I've started pool exercises and feel great. My hubby even bought me some foam dumbbells for the pool so I can get some upper body workouts in the pool too.

You are really welcome. I am not only losing weight (in June I only lost .2 pounds) BUT as of last week, I have been off my insulin because of my exercise. THAT is REAL PROGRESS - LOL healthy eating and exercise can make a BIG difference in a LOT of things.

Welcome - you might want to check out some of the videos and other options or simply start a walking program so you don't re-injure yourself. You can make the changes necessary and see real progress.

Glad to be a part of this group and hopefully can stay motivated for the next 8 weeks. Goal is to try and get a exercise routine going. I have been a little apprehensive because I have had shoulder pain the last 3 months but got steriod injections today ( my second and last set because of my diabetes) and have the go ahead to continue work outs. I was concerned because I like to work on strength building with the 6 lb medicine ball which is alot of shoulder movement. Just can't do push ups which is what started the shoulder thing in the first place.
