Thank you Nancy. I seem to be following you then because my pain levels is my biggest NSV success measure. My blood work isn't too far behind. I still have room for improvement in my mind. LOL Scale is a stubborn pig, but happy I'm hanging in there in the mid 180's.

Mine results showed up FIRST in my pain levels, then in my lab work and finally in my weight - they continue to appear but the weight is often the last to show up for ME. Hang in there you WILL be pleased with your progress.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

Thank you Nancy. Even if it showed up in my tests for blood sugar, etc, I would consider that a huge success.

Thank you for that wonderful welcome Nancy. I've been doing small changes to a healthier lifestyle and have my tracker setup for diabetes. I've been trying to stay in the carb, fat, protein ranges specified. Sometimes I go over. I've been drinking mostly water. Before I was drinking Crystal Light and Healthy Balance juice, but thought I would take it to the next step and limit my drinking of even stuff like that. Exercise is very important component and it's going beyond the 10 minutes of exercising. I've been doing some reading that it's better to stay active throughout the day then just doing my one work out session so I try to fidget at my desk or find reasons to get up. Wearing a pedometer (when I remember) to track steps throughout the day. Initial goal is 6000 steps. Also trying to get more fruits and veggies into my diet. I've been using salad plates for my dinner plates for some time now so it's just concentrating on getting more protein while not blowing up the fat in my diet and things like that. I'm a work in progress so I keep implementing small changes into my life with the attitude that it's these small steps that will lead eventually into big results. :)

Angel - welcome - what healthy habits do you plan to implement? What sort of PLAN or GOALS do you have to make the blood sugars behave to make that happen? Healthy eating and a regular exercise plan can really help. For instance something as simple as walking for 15 minutes after your meals can lower your blood sugar and give you better control. Selecting more natural foods and fewer processed foods also helps. Cutting back on portion sizes, finding activities to keep you moving, and getting adequate sleep are all important. You can do this.

Start implementing healthy habits that will get my blood sugar under control since I'm worried about having diabetes. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes 2 years ago.
