Gluten free has lowered my numbers some, but they vary sometimes too. I mainly stay away from processed foods and try to eat more veggies and lean meats. I don't even eat many fruit anymore to see if that helps some. I need to track my carbs more on the SP tracker though. You can add carbs to count.
They say to aim for 40 to 60 carbs per meal and keep your carbs 15 or under for snacks. I am no expert though, and I am sure some would say that it is too many carbs. SP's tracker gives you even more carbs than that, I believe.

If you can buy some South Beach (100 cal) snacks (I keep these in my purse and car at all times) and some Dannon 0% fat Greek Yogurt , I love the blueberry and the black cherry, Pop Secret also has a 100 cal popcorn snack. Give up all white bread, white rice and white pasta, white potatoes and sodas- even diet ones ! Try to exercise at least 15 minutes a day. The Dash Diet has worked well for many folks. It is great to see that you have set reasonable goals. 2# a week is a good way to loose. If you could find a water aerobics class that is a great exercise!

For this week I don't count on losing weight but hope to lose at lest 2 pounds. I also want to get a handle on my blood sugars. Since I don't eating at scheduled times, it is hard to keep my numbers in check.
