I am trying to lose weight. I would like to lose 30 lbs by 6/1/13,but am having trouble staying on my diet. I am exercising 3-4 days a week at a gym since December. I am diabetic and have hypertension as well so I need to really get serious about taking this weight off. My long term weight loss goal is 100 lbs by 6/1/14. Due to mobility and other health issues I cannot exercise vigorously. Any suggestions appreciated.
I signed up for the SparkPeople 8-Week Diabetes Weight Loss Challenge, because it is further motivation for me to keep going with my goal to reduce my weight & no longer require medication to manage my diabetes. I've started working out on 02/11/2013 using the SparkPeople 28 Day Boot Camp to get things started. My short term goal is to lose 15lbs by April 1st, long term goal 50lbs by December 31, 2013. I don't want to go into 2014 with this extra weight, medication, & unchecked habits that impact my health.
