I have been trying to lose weight and keep it off for 20 years, I'm the living example of the yo-yo diet. I had gestational diabetes with my 3 pregnancies and have a family history of heart disease, type 1 diabetes and thyroid problems.
I'm turning 40 next year, my eldest is 20, my second is 14 and my youngest is 7. I have severe asthma and the last doctor I went to told me I was at risk of having a heart attack if I didn't lose weight, plus he told me I was prediabetic. So my goal is to get healthy so I can see my children grow, give my husband of 21 years (we're highschool sweethearts) some serious grayhair, and be strong enough to spoil my grandchildren rotten! :D
