It's easy to get overwhelmed with so much information out there. Go slowly. Start by taking the foods you know are bad for you and get rid of them or have family members hide them if they are healthy and can eat them. Take one day at a time. Stock up on foods you can have and really enjoy. You can do this. The quality of your life or your very life depends on it. We all here with you. We're in the same boat and will help anyway we can.
YOU CAN DO THIS
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes over a year ago. I attended a lot of classes and started the learning process, but then I became overwhelmed by the information, the work, and the plans. I gave up. Since then, I have been ignoring my disease, but today I am afraid of the consequences and so I have decided to take the steps needed to get this under control, so that I can feel and be healthier.
