Hi and welcome. So many of us learn the hard way and refuse to act when we are told we are prediabetic. The best thing do do is find out all you can about diabetes and nip this in the bud as quickly as possible. Congradulations to you for doing what is needed. It gets harder if you wait for full blown diabetes.

I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic about a month ago. I started going to a dietician and I am more aware of what I am eating since I have to go back and show her my food journals. I have been a member of Sparkpeople since 2007, not being consistent has been my down fall. I started the C25K program and joined this challenge. I am hoping to make some moves in my numbers(weight, HP, sugar & cholosteral levels) in the next 8 weeks. Good luck to all and hoping we are all successful!
