Welcome Paula! I was a total diet coke addict when I started Spark and still drink it occasionally but have found that by gradually drinking more and more water until the 8 glasses a day came easily that it no longer was a big deal. I have also learned the joys of various teas and if you want a sweetener you might try stevia instead of sugar. You can make the changes you need to and staying away from medications is well worth the change. If you aren't already, I would really recommend using the daily trackers that Spark provides too. I am amazed at how much I have learned from them.

Having been told by my doc to get some weight off to avoid Diabetes, I'm grateful to find a program focused on just that. Over the next 8 weeks, I will to lose 16 lbs, and find a healthy, flavorful substitute to Coke. I like the carbonation, oh and the sugar...
I will walk for at least 10 minutes daily and try a new workout video each day. I will drink my daily water.
