I'm new here too..and glad that there are still others who are joining. I have a question for you. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes about 3 months ago. I am going to be 38 in May and I have a daughter that is now 5. My husband and i wanted to try to have another kid this year. Did you have a difficult time during your last pregnancy when you were diagnosed with diabetes? I'm just wondering if you had to make drastic changes to your diet to keep your levels lower during your pregnancy.

Jen.. This is my 3rd day on the challenge and you know it really is helping. Because of the tracker and all the support, I am able to see my carb intake and my sugar levels are great now. Who would of thought that just by knowing the amount to eat would bring my glucose readings from 140 to 80's and 97 this morning. We are here for support..

Hi there! I was diagnosed at the end of 2008 with type 2 diabetes. At first I was lost then I settled in focused on carb counting and exercising did great lost 52 #'s in a year. I became pregnant in 2010 gained about 30 pounds back - lost 45 when the baby was born in August 2010 and have now gained almost all of my pregnancy weight back. I have been slacking big time when it comes to exercise and lets not even talk about my blood sugars (200's +). I have decided that it is time to get it together again! I have 3 reasons (my daughter and 2 sons) to stop saying - i'll start again tomorrow -well this is tomorrow - no more excuses! My goal is to lose 16 pounds in 8 weeks. I have NO will power so having support will go a long way. I could always use an exercise buddy or some to keep me in check! Any suggestions / tips would be greatly appreciated!
