BS checked, weight checked...lets not go there, 60 minutes walk and 30 minutes in the pool, did my record keeping and got enough sleep, going to bed earlier tonight too it seems to help my blood sugar numbers.

Use elastic band for 15 minutes with a rep of 10 each time.

Week 2, Day 6: I think I had a good first week. I did the exercises as required plus pilates and a daily walk with Dh and the dog. I will admit the walk is the only exercise I am getting in today.

I kept track of my food intake which is helping me see where I need to improve. I need to add more good fats to my diet...*sigh*...wish I had to add more carbs!

My blood sugar numbers have been good except for Friday. I had sinus problems that kept me up and I was stressed out so I'm guessing that's why my numbers were all over the place...48, 294, 80

I do plan to start checking in daily so my post won't be so looong!!

I did 82 minutes in Walk It Out! today. That's 6.8 miles and 23,901 steps.

My bs was high this morning - 137 darn it! 122 two hours after working out and eating breakfast...
I need more ideas for my bedtime snack to see if that helps. Food was logged, too.

Thursday - WIO on the mini-tramp, dumbells, desk video; bs checked, food logged

Signed up yesterday and am excited. Tested BS levels yesterday morning, last night and this morning. ALl were in ok range. Walked the dog last night for 45 mins and shovelled yesterday also. Curling tonight and watching what I am putting in my mouth!

WEEK 1 - DAY 1

I have been with SP since July of last year and in 6 months, my last blood test showed me as no longer pre-diabetic. The improvement is great but I know I can reverse again if not careful. I used the nutrition trackers and I learned to eat within the limits listed for carbs/protein etc. I am excited to be here to learn from you all and to share what I have learned.

tested my bs this morning 125
for me thats good
i started this change in sept and sugars used to run in the 250's started eating better and exercise
because of my weight i have trouble with a lot of exercise at one time
but lost 30 lbs so far and some things are getting better

WEEK 1, DAY 1:

20 minute SparkPeople Dumbbell fitness video

48 minutes in Walk It Out! for the wii - just over 10,000 steps using the mini-trampoline I got for Christmas which has been mostly ignored - much more of a cardio workout with the trampoline at 170 beats per minute.

I do WIO everyday, but for this challenge I think I'll plan to do the challenge exercise and WIO with the trampoline three days a week and then just do an hour+ of WIO on the other days to get my step count up and distance. I'm on pace for my goal of 5 million steps and 2011 miles in 2011.

Checked my blood sugar when I got up, after exercising and after breakfast - Whoot!

Just started this yesterday. I track my food like clock work so that is not going to be a biggy. Yesterday I got in 30 min of cardio, 20 of dancing and my array of strength exercises. I hope I have gotten everything recorded as it should be, if not i will figure out what I need to get done. I like this to come in everyday to a location and see how I am doing compared to others. Believe it will help the sense of competition.

The Lord is my tower and my strength!

This morning I have walked three miles in 70 minutes and taken 7818 steps so far. I ALWAYS track my food that is never a problem
I did set my goals yesterday ---to break my Plateau and learn more about my condition.
I have put in to my Favorites and Fitness trackers videos I will check out later. I have no exercise videos at this point just the plan I have done for a year in my exercise plan on Spark.
NOW I have to read Official rules for something. I better check it out.
3 miles walked in 70 mins.

Joined yesterday..starating today have a bug trying to stop me so I will take it slow as I go. I did log my blood sugar which is elevated with the bug.

Joined yesterday and did everything on the challenge (even a 15 min excercise video) Praying I will stay motivated as I am trying to lower my blood sugar and get off meds. emoticon

1/24 I had a great day. Got in a 30 minute dvd that worked on strenthening my core, did my dumbell workout....and even got some wii fit in.

Had a good day ~ 20 min cardio and upper body strengthening, 9 cups of water, ate healthy foods planning on a water workout tomorrow

Week 1 DAILY check in log.
70 minutes Cardio on treadmill
10,320 steps.
No time for ST due to so many e-mails it is now midnight so thats it folks. Pat in Maine.

WEEK 1, DAY 1:
Did a 20 minute SparkPeople Dumbbell fitness video, & will now go do my 30 minutes of cardio on the Elliptical.
