A1c was at 8 with FBS at 193 on 1/20/2015. Started counting carbs immediately and went on oral meds. Today FBS was 167, day 9 (2/7/15). It's a good beginning! emoticon

FBS 64 this morning. Not a very good feeling for me. Endo says that my insulin in my pump will need to be changed to help combat low AM blood sugars. Going in to have an over night CGS study done in a couple of days.

Week 3, Day 1, FBS 106. I have never checked my BS every morning for 2 weeks before, and I have had diabetes for 8 years. This is a big accomplishment for me in managing my diabetes. It encourages me to pay more attention to what I am eating. It helps quite a bit to hear from all of you.

Week 1: Day 7 (Yesterday)

FBS: 80/68

Got in 5 miles today.
Did the ST video.
Tracked all of my food.

Woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine...first one since starting the new meds. I was vomiting off and on through the night, and didn't really get any good sleep until about 8:30am, so I slept in until almost 1. That's why I have 2 FBS #'s for yesterday. The first was taken about 7am and the second at about 12:30pm. I stayed in bed for most of the day, and didn't feel better until about 9pm. Now I am ready to put week 1 behind me and want to focus on bigger workouts in week 2!

Here's me again!
I re-started this program last week but that was a week too soon.
Had too many start of the year errands to run that caused me to eat my lunches out in Thai restaurants.
I don't know how to track Thai foods and even if I broke them down I am sure they would be very bad for me.
So, now that all is back in order I will start again.
