As above, my 5k is in 13 days. I didn't run at all this past week (blamed it on school starting, blah blah blah). I ended the week before that at 2.2 miles. I know that even a week off can cause havoc when 'starting' to run again, so I may only do 1.5 tomorrow just to be easy about it. I'll 2.2 if it's pushing, but not killing, myself. Last thing I want is to hurt myself before my run!
Since I kept up my running, Husband and I signed up for the Super Spartan on Feb 28! It's farther than I've ever run (it's 8 miles, and the max I ran before quitting was a 4.75.) But I've been keeping up with it and plan to keep up with it, and I KNOW I can do it!
For now though, focusing on my 5k. I'm 2.2 in, 0.9 to go in 13 days. I can do it. Just need to stop whining about how cold/tired/busy I am, and make this time. I WANT to run. I WILL RUN.
