I hope it is okay to start a thread here...if not, I apologize.
I need any feedback from those who have been there & done that.
Here I am on my 3rd week. Tomorrow morning is day1/week3 for me..I am doing well....averaging an 11:45 mile. Feeling strong! I LOVE this team plan - so doable for me!
However, I will be participating in my very first 5K race this Saturday...I am so excited....and I have butterflies in my stomach already. Lol!
Day3/week3 will be race day for me - I hope that's okay to treat the last day of week 3 training as race day....
...it is supposed to be 40 minutes, but I hope to make a better time than that.
I couldn't pass up a chance to do this 5K with my mom.
If you have any advice for a first time race participant - hit me with it!
