Today is the start of Week 3 for me, Mondays & Wednesdays are my cross training days with swimming for an hour to an hour and 45 minutes then Zumba! in the afternoon. Weather is less than ideal to run so I've been balking at the idea of changing out.
Ok I'm on my week 3 but not started and it's already Wednesday. I usually go in the morning but I already didn't get out of bed this morning. Now I'm about to get ready for work and I'm feeling terrible that I didn't start my week 3. I need to put the effort to make it after work. :(
and i finally completed my day 3 for week 3 yesterday! it's been a long week 3 for me with the weather not being helpful at all but all in all it was a fun, interesting week 3! so today is my rest day before i start week 4 and am so excited to get to it, too! have a great week everyone!
Well, it's been about 6-7 weeks since I have run. I am going to start back into this program at Week #3 where I was when I sprained my ankle. I have dropped a few lbs since I took time off, so I should be OK starting back at Week #3. We'll see how things go tomorrow.
I think I am going to be running primarily outside, but I plan to run maybe once a week or so, on the treadmill, in order to use that to help me increase my running speed. Again, I'll see how that plan goes as I get to it.
For now, I'm just HAPPY to get back to running!

I just tracked my first run of week 3 and I have to admit that I felt great! I have tried to do this several times in the past, but just didn't feel the love. However, something is clicking this time -- may be the combination of new running sneakers, eating the right foods, hydration and warming up and cooling down.....duh!
I just signed up for my virtual 5K July 4th! Wish me luck!
