After a 5-day rest -- who am I kidding? I just didn't do anything those days :( -- I got back on the treadmill yesterday and did week 5, day 1. However, I realized just as I was starting that I forgot to look at the plan to see what I supposed to do. Oh, boy.
So I did my own combination. I got through 4 sets of walk 2 min, jog 3 min before needing to slow down the jogging speed on the fifth set. I did some 5.0 and even a 6.0 mph for 30 and 60 sec at the end, and was dripping by the time I was done. I still haven't looked at the plan, but definitely will do so before my next treadmill stint.
I really could tell the difference between my fairly regular first 4 weeks, and this session after a no-walk/jog span of 5 days. I have to be more dedicated, determined and consistent. And I know that will make it easier, at least to a point.
