I too am amazed! The first few times out I was running too fast I think and could barely jog for one minute without gasping. As long as I paced myself I could run the 3 minutes pretty well!

For my Week 5, Day 1 run I went 5.09 km in the 36 minutes! Not bad for a smoker who had never jogged a minute in her life until I started this plan!! LOL. I am actually disappointed when it is not a "running day" in my work out plan!

Looking forward to my first walk/jog on June 12. It is not an "official 5 K" but it is an organized event. I plan to do my first official 5 K "run" in August (after completing the 5K your way running program).

Nicole.

I am amazed how I am able to run for 3 minutes now when just 4 weeks ago I struggled to run for just a minute! I am really looking forward to training the other 2 days of week 5 and then on to my race day of June 4th! Woohoo!!!!!!!!! emoticon

Thanks. I'm schedule to run my first 5K on June 5.

I can tell that the runs are getting easier and easier and I learn to pace myself and relax.
