Running for 2.5 minutes at a time has been challenging. I have to push myself to keep going and I do not run very fast. My 5k is a week from sunday on May 13th. I am so excited but a little nervous too!

I did week 4 day 1 today. My pace was way slower than last week, barely faster than a speedwalk, but I did it! I never thought I'd be able to run for 2.5 minute intervals! Just like week 3, which I did twice, I'm going to see how this week goes, and will repeat it if necessary. So excited that I can do this.

Happy to report that week 4 started off wonderfully. After struggling with my breathing during week 3 at 2 minutes, I was concerned how much upping the jog time by 30 seconds this week would affect me. With some good tips from Laurie (re pacing), today I found that 2.5 minutes jogs were easier for me than last weeks' two minute jogs--Yay! Thrilled!! Thanks SP and thanks Laurie!
