Extending the jog time to a full 3 minutes was leaving me feeling a little doubtful but for me it was more mental than physical. Once I got started, while challenging, it was doable. Good luck! You CAN do it!
I'm did week 4 day 1 , i stayed on week 3 for a few weeks until got "easy" to do without stopping, week 4 is killing me,i got a cramp in my side during the last run interval and hadto walk it out. Hopefully day 2 will be easier, but good job on finishing that 5k
Just did W4D3 and extended it to do a 5K. As I mentioned before I signed up for a virtual 5K that landed during my week 4. I did it! I wasn't speedy by any means 40:45. While my endurance is improving my speed needs some work. Right now, though, it is more important to me to just be able to go the distance and extend my jogging times. Who knows, maybe one of these days I will be a runner.
Today was pretty tough. I actually considered stopping after the third interval but I didn't. I feel like that was such an accomplishment for me. After all, it wasn't that I needed to stop physically. There was something in my head telling me it was just too hard. Overcoming that "voice" has given me quite a boost and my endurance IS improving. The virtual 5K I signed up for is actually this week instead of next week. I'm going to go ahead and do it. I'm not sure how to reset the week I selected so I'll just go with it.
