I'm doing Coach Nicole's resistance band workouts for core and upper body on my non-run days - trying to build muscle strength in those areas to balance the work being done on legs

Thank you Laurie. My gym membership is expired plus it's a bit far from my house and my schedule has been crazy. Therefore, no elliptical or bike for now. I will try the videos and I've been doing brisk walks on non run days.

A simple brisk walk like you are on a mission is an AWESOME non-run day. Also, throw in some strength training along with elliptical or stationary bike if you have access. I use SparkPeople Coach Nicole videos all of the time. The possibilities are endless!
