Finished week 4 day 1, wow, it just took one step at a time. I was pretty tired by the end but no cramps; a little pain for a short while on my knee but I adjusted my stride. I'm trying to do this the Chi way, breathing deep and falling midsole and not worrying about speed at all; I was a minute/mile faster but I'm not even to the fast walk stage for the distance. Lots of work to do yet!

Finished week 4 day 1... It was tough but, based on my speed and the time spent jogging... I JOGGED MY FIRST MILE EVER! I'm pretty excited, and I feel like this will set me up for "behaving" this Halloween weekend!
Just finished W1D1....have been dreading this phase thinking I couldn't do it....but YEAH for ME!!!! I did it and it wasn't nearly as bad as expected. By D3, I expect to add 1 -2 extra sets in as I have every week since I started. By then I seem to beable to handle it. PUSH-PUSH-PUSH!!!! I hate to say it but right now, this is the most rewarding activity I have going in my life!
My friend and I did wk4, d1 this morning. We meet at 5am which is a miracle in itself. I struggled the most today with the increased time jogging but got through it ok. I do have a blister now on my foot. We stretch for a few minutes after each run so we haven't been too sore so far. We are pretty excited we are doing this. We plan to do a real 5K at the end of October. Thanks SP!
I just got back from my Day 1, Week 4 training and my calves are hurting but I feel great! I'm very proud of myself for sticking with the program! I got the Nike+ and it's very motivating! I also let my 7-year-old daughter, who is my running partner, use an MP3 player and she wanted to keep going when it was time to leave! It was fun today but I wish my calves toughened up a bit!!
