Week 4 is complete. I'm having so much fun that I just kept doing a daily training plan each day, so I'm almost a week ahead of schedule. Just realized that next week's plan INCLUDES a 5K! Today I did the 7 intervals, then just kept on the same 2:2.5 routine until I reached the full 5K distance - for ME, that meant 2 more intervals. Others are probably faster and can go farther; even making the entire distance in the training plan for the day. At least it's progress Tomorrow will be a rest day, the I expect to start Week 5 and consider then moving on to the beginner runner training plan. I've enjoyed the walk-run cycles and may (gasp!) consider joining a marathon training group following the Galloway plan in April.
