Sounds Great. I had a hard time getting 5 F&Vs when I started SparkPeople. I started to eat 1 cup of strawberries (sometimes blueberries, sometime mix and sometimes I add a banana) and cool whip. Sort of a cakeless shortcake.

I tried the weight watcher cake - it was okay but crumbly which works for short cake.

Hi again,
Its my week 2, I have been under calorie intake 6 out of 7.
I have gotten my exercise time just fine.
I had 3 days w/5 or more F&V. But still finding myself getting at least 3. Not sure what
to do to improve this. Had kinda different week so probably planning should be on my to do
list. Next week we get siding on the house so I am sure gonna try to concentrate on the 5 once again!

Hi! My first week was a day or 2 short since I just joined this team. My week 1..I was able to come in under the calories 6 of the days. I was also able to get the fitness time in too. I had a little shortage on the f&V. I made it a day or two to get 5. I did get at least 3 in anyway. Easier for me to get fruits in than vegies so this next week I'm concentrating on more vegies than fruit. The challenge has made me a little more mindful & aware to keep trying...

Great! Welcome to the challenge. One of our regulars was an active fisher (we had regulars during winter) - not sure what happened but I bet he is out fishing right now!

Hi Paul. I just joined this team a few days ago. I am newish and will certainly give your challenge an honest effort. I've got a few weeks b4 my class starts back up so this is a nice fill in till then. Sounds like a good challenge if a plateau hits too!

***Since this is an "outdoor team" I'm sharing that we were fishing last night & caught a 28 inch catfish on chicken livers. He's cleaned & ready for the freezer for now! Anybody else out there been fishing?

Not sure I have any friends here any more but I am running a challenge on Team 300 and consider this an invite to participate. You can post here on this team - no need to go to the 300 team.

New Challenge for my friends!

This challenge starts Friday August 12th and runs through September 9th (4 weeks)
Everyone who responds to this challenge and starts it will get a goodie from me or from the Spark Team (Goldens/Outdoors/Mets teams).

Everyone who completes the challenge successfully will have positive results and receive a second goodie!

Everyone who fails to complete the challenge owes me a goodie!

The Challenge:
I challenge you to remain under your calorie limit 6 days for each of the four weeks in the challenge!
I challenge you to eat a minimum of 35 servings of fruit and vegetables for each of the four weeks in the challenge!
I challenge you to exercise a minimum of 120 minutes for each of the four weeks in the challenge!

I will forgive a mess up (failure to meet challenge for a week) once and you can continue with the challenge - you will owe me a goodie though.

You need to respond to this challenge so I know you are participating.
You should post results at least once a week stating if you meet all three parts of the challenge (calories, F&V, exercise).
You may post daily to let us all know you are on track to meet the challenge.
You should post if you messed up so I know to expect a goodie.
You should make me your friend if I am not already your friend.

These challenges are meant to be fun and encouraging. I hope you find this motivating and helpful as we journey together towards a healthier us!
