Today was my first solid 35 min jog...whew! But I did it! Up until today I have been walking fast for 1 min and jogging for 4 ...there is a difference...but one feels good afterwards to know you "can" do it!

did my 3rd run of Week 3 in the afternoon - I find the first two intervals are most challenging, then it's like the body gets revved up - and the last 5 were much easier. I run in a very hilly area - and have discovered the need to pace myself when going uphill, or down steep slopes! Looking forward to my next run.

second run of week 3 - went out at 2pm after a very tiring shift at work - the wind was really, really strong - and cold - but I felt better for running and enjoyed the sense of achievement. This week is definitely harder than last week though - and I can see why some people choose to repeat it. I'm doing alright though - my breathing is good, and I have no problems (touch wood) - am doing the 10 minute stretches for runners routine after every run - hopefully that is helping!

I went out for my first run of Week 3 this morning and found it more challenging - more out of breath and the walk time seemed to go quickly! But after I'd warmed up it got easier. I've been doing my runs at 7am, but today I went at 10.30am - my energy was different. Also I had two days' rest because I've had a bit of a sore throat and didn't want to run myself down. Jogging for 2 mins was significantly harder than 1.5 mins - surprised me!

Anyone else at the same point in the programme?
