Thank you! This is my first foray into running, and I'm determined to "become a runner." :) I just want to make sure that I can make it on race day!!! There's a 5k almost every weekend at Ft Hood, and lots of other opportunities for me to participate in events like that with my hubby, and I'd like to do well. :)
Even if you don't quite make it to 3.1 miles at the end of the program you WILL make it on race day. The key is you are being consistent, persistent and PATIENT in this process. You are doing just fine!
I will be doing Week 3 Day 3 on Thursday, and I don't know if I am going an adequate distance. Meaning, idk if I will be going 3.1 miles by the end of this program. Right now I go 2 miles (or just a smidge more.) I am also pushing my daughter in a regular non-jogging stroller because that's all I have at the moment. How far SHOULD I be going to get to 3.1 miles by the end of the program?
