Did my week 2 today. I ran on a treadmill, since I was there anyway and wanted to get it all done there. But it was fun I did a bit of a challenge to myself too. I had done some elliptical stuff to warm up, and then went to the treadmill.

On the treadmill I did some walking to start, then I increased the pace to a nice jog. I did that for the rest of the mile. I then took it down to some walking. then back to running. BUT the treadmill was set for just 30 min so I only did 2.25 miles. Darn it.

Well, I did week 3, day 2 yesterday and it was hard. I even had to turn "down" the treadmill from 4.6 and 4.5 toward the end.

The inside of my right knee has had a bit of pain since last week. I've put ice on it the past two times, but haven't taken anything. Today did a bit of reading about what it might be, and I'll possibly try some advil next time.

I love running while it's raining out. I went out yesterday and finished Day 2 of Week 3. My calves were killing me when I finished! I got new sneakers last night and I am hoping those will help with the calves problem. I really can't wait for the muggy weather to go. I'm ready for fall!

I went out the door to do my day 2 and ... it started raining.
I guess I'll do it tomorrow now.

I'm going to be doing Day 2 today also - I walked briskly for 4 miles on Sunday, but today and Friday I'm "wogging" for 45 minutes/3.5 miles. I lost motivation the end of last week because out of town family was staying with me, and my schedule was all messed up. I'm going to keep chipping away on my training with my "wogging", which is the walk/jog combo. emoticon

Good job outdoor girl! You keep plugging away at your goals.
