I was overjoyed this morning when I looked out the window and saw that the predicted rain hadn't come yet. I jumped into my running clothes and headed quickly out the door. It was a great run, overcast sky, but there's something truly invigorating about running around a lake. It's almost like running around a magnificent jewel. Parts of the sky were clear and the lake reflected all the shadows and light. Unlike day 2 of week 3 my legs did not turn leaden. The weatherman wasn't entirely wrong, though, two blocks away from my return home, it began to rain.
