I started the program today. I'd been thinking about it for about a week, testing my walking and jogging skills with some test walks around the neighborhood and mapping out my route. I started today and I really wanted to push myself to do more but I reminded myself that I have to start slow. I tried to focus on my form and my breathing. I definitely need more deep breathing practice because during a downhill portion (I live in the mountains, hard to find flat land) I ended up getting a pretty annoying side stich. I'm going into the city for two nights so I plan to bring my running shoes and try to get up on Saturday and jog. Here's hoping!
