Hello, my name is Michele. I am not new to running or working out, but I had to put my running on hold due to a stress fracture in my foot. I recently got Merrell Pace Glove shoes and am very excited to try running with them. I'm going to go really slow at this plan since the shoes are minimalist and I'm sure I have a lot to get used to, plus I really, really don't want to get sidelined again!!
So, today, I started the 5K walk/run program; I walked at 2.8mph and ran at 4mph. I could definitely tell my calves and Achilles are getting a workout with these shoes, even at a slow pace!
I have my next run scheduled for Monday, so wish me luck ;)
