Finished my first ever 5K run today without slowing down even on the slopes. Felt absolutely amazing. Now what? A 10K? LOL.. I was one of only 10 people out of over 500 running who were over the age of 60. Wonder if any of them has lost 95 pounds over the past year.
When I signed up for the Run, I was pretty sure I'd have to walk part of it and/or do a slow jog. I passed many younger people on the slopes who resorted to walking. Unreal feeling of accomplishment.
