I'm really slow when I run too, but I don't care, I'm running (or jogging), I'm DOING it. My favorite thing to see is people running, and my favorite people to see running are those that outwardly look unfit and you wouldn't expect to run, those people are out there doing it! I'm so inspired and proud of them. I've run, I look like one of those outwardly unfit people, I know how hard it is, and I'm so happy for them for putting one step in front of the other.

Wow, I did it! 2.43 miles...I am really slow, but I wanted to be sure I finished it the first session. For the next two, I'll try to work on pace some. If I can't pick it up some, I'll be faster walking my 5K, LOL! But, I'm actually amazed I am doing this and how much more it is than in the beginning when jogging for one minute was kind of hard, so maybe by the end of next week, I'll really be able to run the whole 5K distance...maybe?
Luckily my upcoming 5K is a company sponsored one and I know most of the people from work that sign up only walk it, so I may not actually be the last finisher. Even if I am, I'll be proud to have run (or jogged) the whole thing if I can actually do it.
