I'm starting Week 7 of the program, which is actually the Couch to 5k program and not this one, I was hoping the running programs would be the same, but the Couch to 5k program is a bit more aggressive, and honestly felt better when running, after Week 4 of the Couch to 5k program I could run longer and didn't really like the walks much because I would start to tighten up.
So anyway, I just finished day 1 of week 7, I did 2 full miles in about 22 minutes, I'm very proud of myself. I always run outdoors, it was a beautiful morning, overcast but not cold, in the high 50's. I pushed and worked through the mental game and WON!
I feel awesome! I'm going to stretch my time by about 2 minutes on both Wed and Fri this week which should have me running a little over 2.5 miles by the end of the week.
That sets me up for Week 8 and stretching my running times there and I'll be right in line with running a 5k the week after Thanksgiving!!
