Keep trying! I won't say it will get easier but you'll feel so great once you do do it :)

Just read your post and its funny because I just came in from my 5K prep run thinking the same thing!!
Maybe the legs were just worn down from the days daily activities. They did feel a bit heavy when I first started out and it made the run more difficult.
SO.........I' will see if a switch in the time of day helps because I gained nothing here tonight. Same milage (1.2) same time 18 mins.
Keep me posted if your going to try the time change too. It'll be interesting to find out!
Good health to you and stay proud!!! : )

I feel so proud of myself for getting this far but I am focused on finishing this program. So I attempted W7D1 on Sunday and did O.K. I was able to start off strong but on my 2nd increment I had to stop 30 seconds before the full 4 mins of jogging, and I had to keep doing that off and on throughout the rest of the session, I want to say I added about 2 1/2 minutes of walking but I finished so I counted it but then I attempted it again on Tues night and my heart just wasn't in it. I feel strong in my legs but it's hard for me to catch my breath and the mental part is hard too so I'm going to attempt it again tomorrow morning before work - maybe a good 5am session is what I need to get Day 2 done! I'm trying not to get discouraged b/c I know I can do this! I hope everyone is doing well - keep strong!!
