So a lot has happened since my last post here. First, we moved to Mexico! We've been housesitting in Chapala and soon we'll hit the roads and meander on down to Guatemala, then we'll come back to a housesitting gig near Puerto Escondido for August.
The last four months here have been wonderful. Have I been exercising? Not really. We walk the dogs twice a day for about 30 minutes, and there are a lot of hills to climb, so that's good. We eat a lot of fresh produce from the farmers markets. And I managed to finally switch all my coffee intake over to decaf. So that's all good.
The crazy part? I've lost weight. I was so surprised to come back here to SparkPeople today and see that my last weigh-in was at 235! Holy moly! Now I'm hovering in the 210-212 range. Twenty-five pounds less of me, damn!
So we're finally getting off our asses and doing some workouts. We obviously did not fly down here with a set of kettlebells, and I don't want to buy any either. So I'm doing various forms of body-weight workouts. All I know is my triceps and biceps burn, so I must have done something right.
