It's said that the biggest obstacle to running is the brain. Once you get past the mental, the rest is easy, well, most times anyway.....LOL

ok so I went 30 minutes today when I thought I was only able to do 10 minutes...
My body is amazing when my mind gets out of the way!!

Carve out what is most important to you first, then allocate your day to others! I promise you and they will be better for this decision!!

That's awesome!

Keep at it. And like I said, don't worry about speed. Once you do your first 5k, then you can work to improve your time. For now, keep working on the endurance :)

Thank you Suzette. I finished easily. My walk speed was 3.7 and my jog/run speed was 4.3.

Don't worry about your speed. For this program you are working on endurance and getting your body adapted to running. If you keep running, the speed will come later.
Go only as fast as you feel comfortable.

I am heading to the gym after work to start week 4. I am feeling a bit intimidated by the fact that this week I am running more than I will be walking. Is there an appropriate speed I should be going? I have been trying to keep it around 4.2-4.5.

I will let you all know tonight how it goes...and if I make it.
