I have one more day for week 3. I am doing well. Yesterday on each of my 2 minute jogging intervals, I increased the speed by .2 per mile each segment. It felt great! Looking to do the same finishing out week 3!
Do NOT concentrate on running faster. All you are working on right now is endurance (being able to run). The body needs to adapt to the running first before you start to even consider speed. Go with a pace that is comfortable, even if that pace is as fast as a walk.
