As soon as I finished week 1 I knew I wouldn't be able to run for 2 minutes straight. But I had already increased the number of intervals and length during week 1 so I knew I could do a bit more. My solution was to run 1.5 minute intervals for 4 or 5 times for a week. I'm now doing week 2 proper and it's a tough go but I'm doing it.

I couldn't do it either. I decided I would do a week of a mid-range option -- with a 90 second jog and a 2-1/2 minute walk, for the intervals. When I am comfortable with that, I will move to the two minute jog.
I've decided that I need to be comfortable (ie able to breathe) doing the program -- and since it is "Your Way" I will modify it to make it work for me -- even if it takes more weeks.

Is anyone having trouble going from week 1 to 2? The increase of running time from 1 to 2 minutes seems to be harder than I expected. I ran the full 2 mi the first interval, then I couldn't finish the rest. This is just day 1 of week 2 for me, so maybe it gets better, but anyone else have this problem?
